Ariel from A Naturalized Citizen wrote a great article about the price women of transsexual histories pay to become whole.

Some people are born with a serious discrepancy between what their body looks like, specifically between their legs, and what their brain tells them their body should look like. It is not just a physical discrepancy between brain and body; it’s a discrepancy between how these people think and feel, their very essence, and everything that having the opposite body brings.

Everyone who makes a major change in their lives pays a price. That includes those who change everything up to but not including genital correction. It can be a very high price. But those who undergo full surgical correction pay a price in blood, toil, tears, and sweat (not to mention money in many cases) that those who do not undergo correction do not pay. That is also different. And that price earns the post-corrected person something important—to be significantly closer to having been born the right way. To have what it takes to live life fully and interact with others, including lovers, as if they had been born the right way.

This should never be dismissed or belittled or disrespected. Those who undergo correction are not better than those who do not. They pay a different price and obtain a different result. No one who does not pay that price can claim that particular prize. That is the bottom line.

Google most certainly helped by showing ads pointing to this crap for years, when you did a search for the word Transsexual. I wrote a blog about that a while back but it didn’t survive the move. It seems as if Google has stopped that, at least for now.

Now when you search Google for the word Transsexual you get this rainbow flavored image near the button and no ads show up.

It has come to my attention that my most recent posts have been a bit high in satire and not the most “supportive”. I really must apologize for that and can only say that I have been a bit reactive to the amount of “push back” happening around Blogistan to the current upsurge in the level of resistance to The TG BORG’S Agenda.

I have tried to get Tikiwiki to be a bit more friendly has far as chatting and collaboration goes but was not very successful. I do want to make sure we all continue to create and edit content on TS/IS Liberation Main Site but we can use this to blog, real-time chat and have a forum to use.   I will be adding new features that will hopefully make it a better experience. The authentication is not tied into the base tikiwiki site so you will have to create new accounts. Accounts will be verified based on information you have in your tiki account.
